CNN - What a week: Putin speaks out on election meddling and more

"Moscow (CNN)Russian President Vladimir Putin is usually as difficult to read as some of his country's most famous literature. He's always calm and composed, rarely uttering a superfluous word. This week felt a little different.

For several months, the Kremlin has batted down questions on possible Russian collusion with Donald Trump's presidential campaign or interference in the 2016 US election, with creative variations on "No comment."

"Don't read your morning newspapers," Putin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in February when reports of multiple contacts between Trump associates and Russia surfaced."

Does this article actually say anything? Does Putin actually, 'speak out on election meddling,' or is that simply an exceptionally cheap way of yet again repeating the conspiracy theory association of Russia and the 2016 US election? Is saying, 'no comment,' speaking out?
